Some jobs are simple in concept but make a huge difference in day-to-day life. This was one of them. A repeat customer reached out needing safe, functional access off their slider door - no steps meant stepping down awkwardly every single time they used that door. Not ideal, and honestly a safety concern too.
We built out a three-step set using dark block units that sit flush and solid against the home. The fit against the door threshold is clean and tight. Nothing shifts, nothing wobbles. Just sturdy, reliable access every time.
What we really like about this one is how well the steps complement the existing concrete patio. The contrast between the dark block and the light grey slab looks intentional - because it is. We don't just build for function, we think about how it's going to look once it's done.
This customer has used us before, and that trust means a lot to us. When someone calls us back for a second job, it tells us we got the first one right. That's the standard we hold ourselves to on every single project - whether it's a full patio installation or a straightforward set of steps like this one.
Outdoor access points are easy to overlook until they become a problem. If you've got a door with no safe way in and out, or your current setup just isn't cutting it anymore, this is the kind of work we do all the time.
