Chain-link has its place, but it doesn't do much for privacy or curb appeal. This property had an old chain-link gate that was doing very little - open sight lines, no real separation from the neighbors, and a setup that just felt unfinished. The homeowner wanted something that actually worked for them.
We came in and replaced the whole thing with a solid wood privacy fence and a matching driveway gate. The difference is immediate. Where there used to be a sagging chain-link panel that anyone could see straight through, there's now a clean, tight fence line that runs along the side of the house and closes off the driveway with a proper gate. Real security. Real privacy.
The wood we used is pressure-treated, which matters a lot for longevity. Pressure-treated lumber resists moisture, rot, and insects - so this isn't a fence that's going to start leaning or deteriorating after a couple of seasons. Built right from the start means fewer headaches down the road.
What we also like about this one is how well it fits the property. The fence follows the natural line of the house and ties into the driveway entrance cleanly. It doesn't look like an afterthought - it looks like it belongs there. That's the kind of finished result we're always going for.
A fence upgrade like this hits on a few things at once - it adds security, cleans up the look of the property, and gives you a sense of enclosure that chain-link just can't provide. If your current fence setup isn't doing its job, a wood privacy fence with a matching gate is a straightforward fix that makes a big difference.
